BAD WESTERN SYDNEY: The Second Case
This year, WestWords and the BAD Sydney Crime Writers Festival are returning for: BAD Western Sydney: The Second Case.
The first anthology was an amazing success, featuring writers from all over Australia. This is your opportunity to submit works of short fiction and micro-fiction for your chance of publication in the second anthology.
Read the first anthology online here.
BAD Western Sydney: The Second Case anthology will be launched at the 2024 BAD Sydney Crime Writers’ Festival.
BAD Western Sydney: The Second Case is a crime anthology set in the urban/suburban sprawl of Western Sydney. This richly diverse part of Australia is home to over 10% of Australia’s population and is one of the world’s most multi-cultural regions. Within its bounds each centre is distinctive with a unique blend of languages and characters. We are looking for short stories and microfiction to include in the anthology that evoke that strong sense of place.
BAD Western Sydney is a partnership between BAD Sydney Crime Writers Festival and WestWords, Western Sydney’s Literature Development Organisation.
