WestWords offers a variety of Residencies, to help writers get away from the burdens of the day-to-day, and cultivate a focused and dedicated writing opportunity.
Varuna: The National Writers’ House
WestWords Varuna Western Sydney Residential Program annually offers four emerging Western Sydney writers from diverse backgrounds the opportunity of a six-day residency at Varuna, The National Writers’ House in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains.

Daffodil Cottage
WestWords Daffodil Cottage Artist Residencies, situated in Katoomba, in the beautiful Blue Mountains are made possible by the generosity of Rachel and Katy, the owners to provide artists with time, space, and quiet to work intensively on an artistic project in an idyllic mountain setting.
