WestWords: A Western Sydney Anthology

WestWords: A Western Sydney Anthology

After 10 years of working with writers and poets of Western Sydney, we are proud to continue to facilitate, elevate and promote the vibrant and diverse voices of our region in mainstream Australian literature, for we believe these voices are the voices of contemporary Australia.

To celebrate 10 years of WestWords, we are announcing the call out and publication of WestWords: A Western Sydney Anthology.

This anthology is dedicated to showcasing the new; both the new voices of the emerging writers, as well as something new from established authors—whether that be a new genre, or content, that they have not yet pursued in their published careers. The WestWords community was the impetus for this project, and we are proud to make it happen.

We invite you to submit something new … however it is that you resonate with that concept. This anthology seeks to promote the excellence of writers in our community, whether that be excellence in craft, form, ideas, creativity, boldness, or vitality.

This is your opportunity to submit something brave. Something vibrant. Something new.

FAQ: All writers and their works featured in WestWords anthologies retain their copyright.
