COV-ART 2
WestWords Fundraising Auction
Help our young people tell their stories/
giving Western Sydney a voice.
COV-ART 2 Fundraising Auction has now closed
We’d like to thank everyone who bid on this year’s Art Auction, regardless of whether you were successful or just missed out.
Our final figure raised was $7485 and this would not be possible without the generous support of all the illustrators who contributed works, and Digiground who hosted the platform for us at no cost. These funds will directly support our work in schools with young people encouraging their creativeness, our emerging authors and illustrators with workshops and residencies, and our published writers with ongoing mentorship and profiling opportunities. We can’t do this alone and we are truly grateful for your support in allowing WestWords to share the stories of Western Sydney.
Our programs promote and encourage reading, writing, and story-making by children and young people because we believe the power of self-expression and creativity can change lives. Share in their stories – in your own home.
Thank you to the artists that supported us by donating their work: Bronwyn Bancroft, Paul McDermott, Jeannie Baker, Jonathan Bentley, Elizabeth Honey, Andrew McLean, Anne James, Alison Lester, Matt Ottley, Alison Lester, Thoby Riddle, Mitch Vane, Martin Chatterton, Eloise Short, Sadami Konchi, Donna Rawlins, Leanne Mulgo Watson, Emma Quay, Alaa Alfaron, Max Hamilton, Ann James, Jennifer Goldsmith, Matt Cosgrove, and Aaron Blabey.
Your support gives Western Sydney a voice.
