Charmaine Ledden-Lewis is a proud Bundjalung woman and self-taught artist, living on Dharug and Gundungurra Country in the idyllic Blue Mountains, NSW.
Always passionate about art and story telling, Charmaine illustrated her first book when she was just 4 years old! She has recently returned to the imaginative world of illustration, having created her first book, ‘Found’, with renowned author and historian, Bruce Pascoe, after winning the Kestin Indigenous Illustrator Award, and most recently collaborating with Olympic Gold Medalist Cathy Freeman on her story ‘Born to Run’.
Charmaine hopes to inspire young & old to transcend inhibition and explore their creativity!
