The winners and highly commended recipients were announced at the publication launch ceremony at HJ Daley Library in Campbelltown during the 2024 Fisher’s Ghost Festival.

The 2024 competition drew a record number of more than 110 entrants responding to the theme of “…connecting…”.

Thank you to this year’s judges: Natasa Aster-Stater, Jelena Curic, Sarah Cupitt, Joanne Macias, and Kirsten West — and thank you to the community of Campbelltown who submitted in force into this year’s competition.

From the judges: “The winners and highly commended entries exemplified exceptional skill in crafting engaging, evocative, and impactful pieces. Entering your work into a writing competition takes courage and this year’s entries were not only original; they were brave. Writers, be proud of your work and don’t stop now, just keep writing. Congratulations to the winners and thank you all for giving us the privilege of reading your entries.”

Congratulations to all the winners and highly commended entrants ⭐
