In 2019 and early 2020 prior to the COVID pandemic every month at the Avalon Restaurant in Katoomba we ran Hemingway’s Polydactyl Kitten Club & Speakeasy. Every month writers gathered in an open mic night sharing their work and enjoying the writing of others. Each month had a featured artist and frequently the evening involved live music.
