ZineWest is a great place to publish your shorter works. Co-sponsored by the Writing and Society Research Centre, WSU, ZineWest winners have been included in editions of AWAW and this year, some ZineWest writers have been re-published in a new Romanian/Australian journal Pounding the Pavement launched on 25th March at the NSW State Library.
ZineWest publishes 30-34 entries and offer 10 more entrants a place at ZineWest Word which follows the zine launch on 7th October at UNE FutureCampus, Parramatta. Entrants need to be 16 years or over, with a connection to Western Sydney and not yet trade published except in multi-author journals. ZineWest is a not-for-profit project of NEW Writers’ Group Inc.
